We successfully organized our Facilitation Academy Vol. 3. project. In the first training course which was in July 2022, the participants started their Academic careers by learning “The Basics”. In the evening after they arrived in Budapest we had a Welcome lunch together and got to know each other.
The next morning they started to learn about how facilitators, coaches, group leaders and groups are build up and how they work. We discussed what are the limits of the people in a group, what kind of qualities make people transform into a group and how they can make or divide a group.
After this session, they could get familiar with the competence model for youth workers to work internationally which was introduced by the European Training Strategy. The participants reflected on the model alone and in pairs too.
One of the evenings we spent a little free time together and we had a picnic on the bank of the river Danube. At the end of the week, we had a last lunch together and we said goodbye but fortunately, we didn’t have to do it for a long time.
